Chapter 5. Period of retention and use of personal information

Chapter 6. Procedures and methods of destroying personal information
In principle, after achieving the purpose of using personal information, the company destroys the personal information without delay. The procedures, deadlines and methods of destroying it are as follows.

- Destruction procedures
After achieving the purpose of using personal information, the company moves the information entered by the member for membership registration, etc., to a separate DB (a separate filing cabinet in the case of paper) to preserve it for a certain period for reasons in accordance with internal policies and other relevant laws, and then destroys it. Personal information transferred to a separate DB will not be used for any purposes other than retention, unless it is required by law.

- Destruction deadline
If the retention period expired, within 5 days from the end of the retention period, when the personal information becomes unnecessary due to the achievement of the purpose of using personal information, abolition of the service, or termination of the business, the company destroys the personal information within 5 days from the date on which personal information is deemed unnecessary.

- Destruction method
For the information in the form of electronic files, a technical method that does not allow reproduction of the records is used.

Chapter 7. Measures to ensure the safety of personal information
In accordance with Article 29 of the Personal Information Protection Act, the company is taking measures necessary to ensure safety as follows.

A. Minimizing the personnel handling personal information and training
We are implementing measures to assign the management of personal information to an employee in charge of handling personal information.

B. Encryption of personal information
The user's password is encrypted, available only to the user. In addition, extra measures are taken for important data, which can be encrypted or locked during transmission.

Chapter 9. Collecting opinions and handling complaints
The company values the opinions of members, and members always have the right to receive sincere answers to the questions they raise. The company operates a customer center for smooth communication with the members. 

Real-time and telephone consultations are only available during business hours. Consultation using e-mail or mail will be answered sincerely within 24 hours. However, in principle, questions raised after working hours or on weekends and holidays are processed on the next working day.
For stolen person information, the company takes the following measures.
1. When it is known to the company that a user has signed up for membership using another user’s personal information, the company takes necessary measures such as suspension of service use for the ID or withdrawal of membership without delay.
2. In case a user whose personal information has been stolen asks for the suspension of service use or membership withdrawal for the relevant ID, the company takes measures immediately.

Chapter 10. Duty of notice
